This conversation is still very much relevant in 2021 because both Pasuma and Osupa are living legends when it comes to fuji music.

Saheed Osupa and Pasuma Wonder can be likened to Wizkid and Davido of the present-day Afro-beat music industry. The competition was not healthy at all between the two artistes and their fans.

Back then, amidst fans, it was always a deal of everyone staying true and defending their favourite fuji artiste while the two artistes always do things just for superiority fight between each other.

Wasiu Alabi Pasuma

Wasiu Alabi Pasuma is no doubt a complete entertainer with 30 albums to his credit. He has a couple of collaborations with some hip-hop artistes like, Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Phyno, Patoranking to mention but few.

Back then, most Pasuma fans always admit that Osupa is a good fuji artiste but he is not as entertaining as Pasuma with Fuji music.

In the history of Fuji music in Nigeria, Saheed Osupa name will appear many times across all pages. He is a very hardworking talent with 40 albums to his name including a 4-in-1 studio album titled “Mr. Music“.

In 2008, Saheed Osupa was declared the “King of Fuji Music” by Ayinde Barrister, a move that further added fire to the ongoing beef with Pasuma.

Osupa Fans don’t always acknowledge Pasuma as a good Fuji musician even though they low-key enjoy his much more entertaining style – “Alabosi People“

Their argument was always based on Saheed Osupa being a Fuji Musician that sings in deep parable lyrics with a lot of words of wisdom to take out.
